Rolie Polie Guacamole

Rolie Polie Guacamole's 3rd Lp "Houses Of The Moly" drops February 26th in Brooklyn, at Little Field performance and artspace.
Frank, Andrew, and Christian return with the bands first cover album.  Songs include fan favorites: Coconut, Upside Down, Dragon Hunt, This Land Is Your Land, and Fire Truck. 
House Of The Moly features guest tracks by kindie favorites, Brady Rymer, Suzi Shelton, Lou Gallo & Justin Lansing (Okee Dokee Brothers), along with performances by Jay Rodriguez and Joaquin Cotler. The album artwork was done by Jen Gaudiomonte, a photograph by Kyle Depew and puppets by Morgan Street.

Frank Gallo, Andrew Tuzhilin, and Peter Barr will be playing songs from all three albums plus songs from their upcoming 4th Lp "Triathlon".  The Rolie Polie Guacamole puppets ('Raccoony" and "Bird Belly") designed by Morgan Street, will be making their first live appearance.

Two new music video's will be shown "Red Light Green Light" and a stop motion video for "Swim Like The Dolphin".
Swim Like the Dolphin will be the second stop motion animation music video for Rolie Polie Guacamole. Animator Miriam Rayevsky and the band chose a slightly different style this time around. The video for the song Rolie Polie Guacamole featured three dimensional clay puppets. For Swim Like the Dolphin (off of the Time for Hummus album) Miriam uses predominantly paper cut outs and plays with various two dimensional textures to create a luminous underwater feel. 

Franks dad Lou Gallo, will open the show with songs from his two Lp's "I'm Home" and "Walk The Dog".

Rolie Polie Guacamole's long awaited second album "Time For Hummus", will be out Saturday March 20th. The full band will be playing for an hour to celebrate this achievement. We encourage all to bring cans of food for the church food pantry. If you bring a can you will receive 5 dollars off the new Cd which is $15. 4-5 pm (The Show) Rolie Polie Guacamole will show a special presentation of their new claymation music video by Miriam Rayevsky to start the show. Then the six piece band will rock out Guacamole style for the rest of the hour. Sambazon Açai juice will be provided for all. V-Spot will offer kids meals: Guacamole, Hummus, Empenadas and Soy Nuggets. Recycled Arts and Crafts provided by Private Picassos Families can create their own recycled collagraph printing plates using a variety of recycled materials.
